In the process of interpreting an organization or product, the designer is called upon to represent concepts graphically. This mark associated the initial letters in the words Communication and Design in the most universally recognized geometric shape, a circle. It then used the negative space in the two letters to symbolically represent a compass arrow pointing West. The identity is equally strong in one color or many, large or small.
