| Creative use of typography is an economical approach to trademark design. Because the identity states what the product is, less investment is required to educate the public. Marriott needed an identity that could easily be applied to posters, signage, menus and advertising. Though the name was fairly long, stacking lines of condensed type kept the identity compact and unified. |
